Six Flags Read to Succeed - Deadline May 4

New this program year, Parents log their child’s reading online! For the 2019-2020 school year the regular reading logs are being REPLACED with eReading Logs. Each classroom, K – 5th, has their own individualized login Code. Parents can use a paper log to keep track of your child’s reading and then enter the information online.
Here is how your child can earn a free ticket to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio.
1. Visit:
2. Use your teacher’s code (on the logs passed out earlier this year)to register your child.
3. Keep track of your child’s reading using the paper log. Students must read for at 6 hours or 360 minutes to earn a free ticket. Children may read any book they choose.
4. Record your child’s reading on the eReading Log. Use code BMHVG to have ticket emailed to you. All reading must be completed by May 4.
5. Receive a free ticket to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in May.

Today we welcomed former Mims student and VMHS 2017 Valedictorian, Kimberly Garza, back to Mims as a published author. Ms. Garza shared her book, The Triumphs of Scoliosis, with our 5th grade students. Her presentation was very informative and inspirational.
