Team Earns 1st Place in the Battle of the Bluebonnet

Mims tied for 1st place with Cavazos Elementary in the 7th Annual MCISD Battle of the Bluebonnets. Victoria, Evelyn, Christian, Jonathan and Laura demonstrated their knowledge of the 20 Bluebonnet titles for 2015 -16 in spectacular style. Great job team, we are so proud of you!

MCISD Battle of the Bluebonnets

A team of 5 Mims students, Lauren, Christian, Jonathan, Victoria and Evelyn, will compete against teams from the district elementary and junior high schools to determine who knows the most about the 2015-2016 Texas Bluebonnet titles. The competition is on Tuesday, February 23 at Ralph Cantu Jr. High. Good Luck students!

Peanuts and the Gang

Our staff dressed up as the Peanuts Gang for the Texas Citrus Fiesta Parade. Charlie Brown and gang led the school float, which earned 2nd Place honors in the Elementary School Division, down Conway Ave. in Mission on Saturday.

Mustangville City Council Elected

All students participated in an election of city government officials for Mustangville, the Minitropolis at Mims. Our newly elected mayor, along with his council members, addressed the student body during the Friday morning assembly.
